Kate as a Designer / Maker
Kate is an accomplished craftsperson. She enjoys the challenge of combining different arts and craft disciplines. Her skills range through many apparently different craft disciplines and drawing them together within 'one of a kind' projects. Her work has been exhibited in galleries within the UK.
Her designs have been featured in magazines such as Interweave Crochet and also extensively online. Kate's book 'Knit and Crochet Wire Jewelry' contains 25 of her unique designs for people to make at home.
She enjoys exploring traditional crafts and their relevance in contemporary society. Her experience as a maker helps fuel her passion for writing about arts and crafts, where she shares her enthusiasm with others.
